EuroVis 2026 returned, after more than a decade, to the islands of the UK. The historic Nottingham, home of Robin Hood, hosted the 28th Eurographics Conference on Visualization, from June 8 to 12. Two works of our lab were presented at this event. On the one hand, Benjamin Russig presented the full paper “Tubes or Ribbons? Comparing Texture-space Visualization for Multivariate Line Data”. On the other hand, Julián Méndez presented “nev: A Visual Query Tracer and Builder for Declarative Logic Programming on Nemo” as a poster and demo.
Eurovis started in 1990 as the Eurographics Workshop on Visualization in Scientific Computing (ViSC), which later became the joint Eurographics/IEEE Visualization Symposium (VisSym) in 1999. It was renamed to EuroVis in 2005 and became a Eurographics Conference in 2012. This year’s event witnessed presentations on a variety of topics including AI collaboration, decision support, multimodal interactivity, flow visualization, networks and graph drawing, explainable AI, dimensionality reduction, and more.
Our presented works correspond to fruitful collaborations of our lab with our neighboring Chair of Computer Graphics and Visualization, led by Prof. Stefan Gumhold, and with the Knowledge-Based Systems Group, led by Prof. Markus Krötzsch.
Please refer to the information below on our presented works.
